Free Agent Forte Free Agent
1st-200.zip 1stReader - by Sparkware, the creators of the original QWK system, is an "all in one" communications package with an integrated QWK offline mail reader. This package lets any beginner get started using offline mail immediately and can be set up to run in a Windows session: 1st95pif.zip is the program information file for Windows 95/98. 1stReader has many add-on utilities to enhance their program. Registration is now only $10! 
MailMaker MailMaker - by Naef Informatik. MailMaker 1.0 beta 5 (16 and 32bit) QWK compatible offline reader for Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT. Fast database to organize your mail. Includes features like text search, folders, internal unpacker, ANSI-viewer, text justification, optional spellchecker, file attachments, picklists, easy install and uninstall and much more. Together with CommMaker, MailMaker allows fully automated mail runs. CommMaker Internet Extensions enables MailMaker to read and post Internet e-mail and newsgroup messages. slmr21a.zip SLMR (Silly Little Mail Reader) - by Greg Hewgill and Technique Computer Systems. SLMR is an offline mail reader for QWK packets. Though not nearly as full-featured or user-friendly as the other mail readers listed here, this product was popular with BBSers for many years and continues to be used. No registration is required. Telnet Communications Programs

NetTerm Net Term - by Intersoft International, Inc., is a Windows 95/98 communications program that provides dial up telnet, ansi bulletin board support, and dialer programs, all in one. Enables fast dial up for SLIP/PPP Internet providers, as well as Internet SHELL access. At last, zmodem file transfers over the Internet! NetTerm will even allow editing a host file on your local computer, with just one command: 'netedit'. We've added a FTP Server to complete the file transfer support. (Win95 32-bit version; Win3.1 version also available at their website).
SecureCRT SecureCRT - by Van Dyke Technologies, Inc., is a 32-bit terminal emulator designed for Internet use with support for both the telnet and rlogin protocols. It's extremely customizable and easy to use, and remote sites can be easily accessed by just entering a hostname. Ideal for connecting to remote systems running UNIX and VMS as well as the many BBS's that are now available via the Internet. Popular features include named sessions, auto login, printing, and zmodem file transfer. CRT includes a 30-day try before you buy fully functional evaluation license. Sysop Files

rnet210u.zip RNET Mail Tosser - by Robert Vostreys. Imports QWK packets into the BBS message base, and compiles a .REP packet for upload. Sets "you have mail waiting flags" internally, has automatic dupe checking, automatic age checking, multiple log generation, more. (DOS, supports PCBoard versions 14.2 - 15.2+ and ProDoor version 3.1+.)
qwkcnt10.zip QWKCount - by Michael Leavitt. Free utility that shows how many conferences and messages are contained in a QWK mail packet. QWK network sysops can use this program to verify proper operation of mail doors and mail tossers, and to track down lost mail. Counts can be written to a log file with time and date information or simply shown on the screen. Fast and easy to use. (DOS)
